UNESCO Evaluates Damage to Saint Sophia Cathedral

UNESCO’s ICOMOS mission is set to evaluate the preservation conditions of Kyiv’s Saint Sophia Cathedral and Kyiv Pechersk Lavra after they suffered damage from recent shelling. This assessment aims to address the impact of the conflict on these historic sites in Ukraine.
