The Koutammakou UNESCO site will implement a 2025-2027 management plan approved in December 2024, focusing on local community involvement and addressing climate, urban, and construction threats. This plan aligns with WHC and ICOMOS recommendations and follows a CFA3 billion FCFA government development project announced in early 2023.
