Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America and is completely unlike its neighbors Costa Rica to the south and Honduras to the northwest. The writer went for a month and stayed for a year and a half. Despite the relentless heat, the poor infrastructure, and the lack of things he often take for granted he was pulled in by the beauty of the country and its people both.
