Great Mosque and Hospital of Divrigi – magnificent masterpieces of Islamic architecture in Turkiye protected by UNESCO; Azertac

Distinguished 11th-century Great Mosque and Hospital of Divrigi, located in the Sivas province of the South-West Turkiye, were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. According to UNESCO, this region of Anatolia was conquered by the Turks at the beginning of the 11th century.
