Spoilt by breath-taking natural beauty and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Lavaux is one of Switzerland’s most picturesque regions. The Lavaux vineyard stretches across 400 kilometres of walls and consist of 10,000 terraces spread over 40 levels. This makes the region the most extensive in Switzerland with the mosaic of vines stretching for about 14 kilometres between Montreux and Vevey (the Swiss Riviera) to the east and Lausanne to the west.
