Africa has many outstanding historic sites and one of the most remarkable of all is that of the Royal Palaces of Abomey in Benin, West Africa. This site is an amazing complex of palaces which has outstanding architecture and artistic works. For a period it was the epicenter of one of Africa’s greatest empires.
