Canada – Historic District of Old Québec

Welcome tourists! In this edition we will talk about a city built in the purest European style. Located in our neighboring country Canada, a metropolis which main language is French, I guess you already guessed about what beautiful place we are talking about, but if you still do not know I’ll tell you It is about Quebec, Canada. City founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain in the 18th century French style and named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985, for the beauty of its walled historic center.

We must add that it is the ninth largest city in the country, but with a population that barely exceeds half million residents. It is a very rainy city, on average it rains 180 days a year, it is a rather cold city compared to most of the ones we have mentioned so far in the past issues. Its average temperature is 40° F.

Round flights from Kansas to Quebec are around $400, you will hardly find direct flights. As for lodging, hotels are at an average of $80 per night and hostels at $30.
