On our first trip to Slovenia, we were captivated by the magic of the fairy-tale city and, except for one trip from Ljubljana to Lake Bled, we were content exploring the history and culinary treasures without wandering beyond the city limits. We were confident we had navigated our way to the top things to see in Ljubljana, but knew we had missed some of the most beautiful places to visit in Slovenia. On a return trip to the country, we were intent on creating a tour of Slovenia and discovered 15 incredible day trips from Ljubljana for our Slovenia itinerary.
