Hampi Utsav has been celebrated for centuries, dating back all the way to the Vijayanagar Empire. That’s why it is also called the Vijaya Utsav.
The Hampi Utsav has been taking place annually for years now, and brings in plenty of people. The three days of Hampi Utsav, from November 3 to 5 in 2017, are arguably the best time to the visit this ancient heritage site. The ancient ruins and centuries-old temples of Hampi draw millions of tourists every year, but the best time to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site is probably the next three days. That’s because the annual Hampi Utsav is going to start tomorrow.
The three-day long festival will run from November 3 to 5, 2017.
