Sveiki atvykę and welcome to Vilnius! Our city is known to have nearly 50 churches and a lot of statues… We have Frank Zappa and John Lennon statues and even a statue for the Easter Egg. We have a rich Jewish heritage, a separate Republic of Užupis, and a baroque old town, which is a UNESCO world heritage site.

But there’s a lot more than buildings! It is impossible to see it all in 48 hours, but it’s enough to see some highlights of Vilnius and to plan what you want to see on a longer trip next time :). I’m happy to show you around to some of the local spots that I like most!

In Lithuania we have a saying:”start your day with a big hearty breakfast for yourself, share your lunch with a friend and give your dinner to your enemy.”
