Indonesia – Borobudur Temple Compounds

Again this weeks country is on my wish list.  Mom, Ammon and Dad have all been there though. This is what they say about it:

What a beautiful country with its 17000+ islands, excellent diving,  more volcanoes than anywhere else, rare animals, exotic ruins and 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

There is so much to see and do in Indonesia. We went to see the Komodo dragons on their very own island, visited Prambanan an 8th century Hindu temple compound that is now a world heritage site and Borobudur a 9th century Buddhist temple the largest in the world also a UNESCO site.  Visited the large cities as well as walking through the quiet small villages. Rode motorcycles up to the coloured lakes of  Kelimutu National_Park and hiked back down. We travelled by ferries to several islands including Bali.
