Malaysia – Melaka and George Town, Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca

Malaysia has several strings to its bow as an incentive destination, but its heritage attractions hold as much group potential as any of them. The destination has a rich multi-ethnic make-up, with particular influence from China and India as well as its own colourful Malay culture, while the colonial years have also left an indelible mark on the country. Heritage-related activities and attractions are found across the map, but the four hotspots below all give particularly good scope for themed incentives.


Despite being the state capital of Perak and home to more than half a million people, Ipoh is still an enjoyably low-key destination, its fine colonial architecture spread across a patchwork of different neighbourhoods.
