The Imperial City of Hue in Vietnam is a hugely popular tourist attraction, and it will open to visitors until 10pm daily night from 22 April to 15 September to make things more convenient for them. The extended opening hours will enable them to avoid the city’s high daytime temperatures that come with summer.
The Imperial City of Hue is a walled palace located in central Vietnam’s Hue City, and was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. It was built in 1362 and served as the capital of Vietnam during the reign of the Nguyen dynasty between 1802 and 1945.
To enhance the nighttime experience, activities that once took place inside the Imperial City will be replicated. These include musical performances, shift change rituals of the old imperial guards, religious offerings and martial arts training by the imperial army.
