Two people are still trapped in a cottage that has been destroyed by a fire in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
Residents in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, woke on Wednesday morning to find the cottage in the grounds of one of Britain’s most popular tourist attractions ablaze.
Police believe two people living at the property are still trapped inside and now feared dead, but rescue teams are still clearing the site and have not yet gained access.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to reports of a house fire at 7.50am on Wednesday morning and three fire engines arrived on scene.
