India – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus)

If you are awed by the beauty and Gothic architecture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly known as Victoria Terminus), the site that is synonymous with the pulse and pace of Mumbai can now be explored up close and personal. The historic site happens to be the second most photographed monument in India, only next to Taj Mahal.

In July 2004, the iconic railway station and headquarters of Central Railway (CR) was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and so, to commemorate its 12th anniversary, CR will be conducting a host of activities, including a culture walk, quiz programmes, discussion on architecture and the history of Mumbai in the HQ’s premises, free of cost.
